A dedication ceremony and barbeque was held on May 11, 1952 for the newly constructed Bulverde Community Center which resulted in an Annual event to benefit the center known as the Spring Chicken Festival.

Featuring BBQ Chicken and Sausage with all the trimmings, the Annual Spring Chicken Festival will also have an arts and crafts show, country store, prizes, games for kids and more!
